HELPS Tutoring in Charlotte-Mecklenburg
Thank you for your interest in being a HELPS Tutor! The Helping Early Literacy with Practice Strategies (HELPS) program is proven to improve children's reading fluency. Dedicating 1 hour each week to tutor 2 students in their reading fluency can transform their lives. For more information about the HELPS One-on-One Program, click here.

To become a HELPS Tutor, please complete the following steps:
1. Sign up for a virtual HELPS Tutor training here.
2. Submit a CMS Background Check. Submit your background check here.
3. Create a Volunteer Matrix account by clicking "New Volunteer Registration" below.

A Helps Education Fund Implementation Coach will reach out to you to schedule your one-on-one coaching session. Please look out for that email.
